For those of you who are new, welcome! Please take your time to look around. It was designed by "DesignandDetail" and I can't say enough good things about them. Because I manage the site myself I try to add new pieces regularly, so stop in often!
I work with molten glass on a Lynx Torch. You will oftentimes hear it referred to as lampworking or glass blowing. I also love mixing mediums such as Forging Silver with my glass pieces. This site contains original one of a kind handmade Lampworked and Sterling Silver items. Whether they are Sea Creatures, Florals, Faces or simple beads, all of the glasswork and much of the silver is handcrafted. The fish below was cretated with Ivory and Turquois Moretti Glass. The finished piece was created by Ann Werther a wonderul Jewelry designer from D'iberville, MS. This piece won a First Place Blue Ribbon recently at Art in The Pass (Pass Christian, MS Arts Festival) for it's fine craftsmanship. We were very proud. He has been donated to a Charity event taking place this weekend for Faith DeStephano, a very good friend's daughter who is fighting a battle with breast cancer which we all believe she will win. My pieces will always be of the highest quality and if you have a problem I expect you to share that with me. I will stand behind my work. It is dedicated to my dear friend Bobbi Jessen, (1947-2004) who led me down this path and taught me about art, silver, and the creative process.
